But when you do manage to extract yourself from the sun lounger, you have so many wonderful places to explore on your doorstep. There are many gorgeous beaches including Barbati and Kaminaki which offer water sports, to the lesser-known spots along the north-east coast where you can find smaller coves and bays and some charming small tavernas for a tasty meze lunch.
Your closest taverna is on the beautiful little bay of Agni, which you can reach on foot in 15 minutes, or is a mere 3 minute drive away, and Nissaki, with its choice of shops and tavernas, and beach with boat hire, is jus 2 kilometres away.
